Taping

Therapeutic taping is a very useful technique in recovery and prevention of injury. It can be used to:

  • control joint range of motion
  • improve muscle activation/recruitment
  • relieve pain
  • improve biomechanics
  • enhance proprioception (the brain's ability to know where the body is in space)
  • improve posture
  • facilitate faster recovery

The physiotherapists are experienced in advanced taping techniques. They are also able to teach family and friends the relevant taping strategies so that these can be performed regularly at home if required.
