Physio Exercise Classes (Formerly known as Clinical Pilates Classes) PILATES

Physio Exercise is a form of exercise that is used to improve strength, posture, control, balance and flexibility. The beauty of Physio Exercise is that it can be made as easy or as difficult as the patient requires and can be tailored to patients of all ages and fitness levels. Physio Exercises draw from a number of different exercise regimes including resistance/weight training, core strength/pilates, stretches/yoga, balance and much more.

Physio Exercise can be used for:

  • Rehabilitation post injury: to improve strength and decrease pain. There is particularly good evidence for the treatment of chronic lower back pain
  • Fitness: for general fitness, strength and toning the core, upper body and lower body
  • During and Post Pregnancy:  a safe and effective way keep the abdominals, lower back and pelvic floor strong and reduce the likelihood of pregnancy related joint pain (eg pelvic girdle pain).

* Group classes are only available to patients who have already attended an Initial assessment and subsequent 1:1 Physio Ex Sessions.
